For those who seed or cut in trays, or who want to mulch pots after all, can use a demtec mulcher that is to be installed on top of a conveyor.
Herewith, a level layer of bark is provided while the tray passes by.
Most of the times, the bark mulcher is put in line with the tray filler and the transplanting or seeding belt: no extra actions are needed to mulch.
The layer thickness can easily be adjusted with the frequency-controlled engines.
This equipment is also used to mulch other material: substrate, sand, vermiculite, rock powder, etc.

In the past few years pots were more often cleanly mulched with bark.
Mainly in case of longer cultivations it offers great advantages.
Demtec developed a proper working bark mulcher which can be added to your installation.
The bark mulcher is equipped with a 800 l container.
The layer thickness can easily be set.
During mulching the pots are rotated, afterwards the excess bark is removed by vibration.
Moreover, we provide our potting machines with a second drill engine to fill pots with a pouring edge so the bark is not on top.
This way we prevent bark from coming on the cultivation surface.

Traditional plant cultivation crates for soil blocks can very quickly be destacked (or stacked) using a demtec destacker.
The destacker uses the simple principle of 2 ‘hands’ lifting the stack and remove the lower crate.
This approved method is applied for all crate heights, for random stacking heights and for various applications (blocking lines, wash lines, etc.).
A single acting destacker has a maximum capacity of 750 crates/hour, a double acting one deals with a maximum of 1,000 crates/hour.
